In Q4 2023, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on iOS in the Netherlands demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and weekly active user metrics, according to Sensor Tower data.

Bybit: Buy & Trade Crypto saw a consistent increase in downloads, starting from approximately 579 in late September and peaking at around 1.8K in mid-December. The weekly active users also followed a similar upward trajectory, beginning at around 10.9K and reaching approximately 14.4K by mid-December.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether experienced a significant increase in downloads, which grew from around 603 in late September to about 1.7K by the end of December. The app’s weekly active users also saw an upward trend, starting at approximately 8.1K and peaking at about 13.6K in early December.

Coinbase Wallet: NFTs & Crypto reported a steady growth in downloads, with numbers rising from around 540 in late September to approximately 1.1K by the end of December. Weekly active users increased from about 8.8K to around 10.5K during the same period.

KuCoin- Buy Bitcoin & Crypto showed a notable increase in downloads, starting at about 416 in late September and reaching approximately 1.3K by early December. Weekly active users also rose from around 4.5K to approximately 7.2K during the quarter.

Bitget- Trade bitcoin & crypto had fluctuating download numbers, peaking at around 1.3K in mid-November before dropping to about 40 by the end of December. The weekly active users increased from approximately 3.9K in late September to about 6K by mid-November, before declining to around 4.3K in late December.
